Role of the Sponsor

Graduate-Level Graffiti: Lost in Translation is a collaborative community art event. Per the original intent of the conceptual artist, Natasha Marin, the event will come about through the participation of sponsors.

The role of the sponsor is to enable the Anchor Artists the means to accomplish their original Intent. With more funds and resources available for the project, it is more likely to be successful in its effort to include widespread participation and interest.

Why Sponsor this Event?

Creating meaningful Art is a collaborative act. Action Realizes Truth. Supporting the arts doesn’t always mean coughing up your cold hard cash. (Although that is very much appreciated!) There are many ways one can support to this project, as a Financial Patron, an In-Kind Contributor, and as a Volunteer.

In recent years there have been significant funding cuts for arts-related programs. In an effort to encourage more widespread support, the Conceptual Artist will donate 20% of all proceeds from this event to underserved Austin artists and arts organizations. Also, for each ticket that is purchased online (via www.inticketing.com) a tree will be planted in honor of this event. Individuals and organizations willing to provide funds equipment, refreshments, advertising, printing and related services, in-kind gifts, and/or volunteer participation for the successful execution of the Graduate-Level Graffiti: Lost in Translation event will be formally recognized as Patrons (see chart below) at the event itself and in related press materials.
